We’re getting ready for our Christmas open studio Saturdays, on the 10th and 17th of December. I’m making a new print at the Curwen Press next week – a series of six vignettes of pen and ink drawings made over the autumn. The print will be in 3 colours on a roughly A3 size sheet. It will be very reasonably priced.
Michelle also has new work and we also have a few fun v limited edition stocking filler ideas at pocket money prices. Not saying what – you’ll have to come and see.
Sorry… again. Long time without an update but in our defense we’ve had a busy Summer. Michelle’s exhibited in Aldeburgh and at the Fulham Palace Art Fair… she’s been working on a cover for Penguin Books, customising trainers for a new footwear brand and looking after her regular clients including The Globe & Mail in Toronto. I [Gareth] have been working on a new project for Reebok plus some other things I’m not allowed to talk about just yet. We also took delivery of an energetic puppy – Rozsa the Hungarian Vizsla.
Our next open studio days will be on Saturday the 10th and the 17th of December. We both have new work and will post a few teasers nearer the time. probably. In the meantime you can keep up to date with Michelle’s news here and Gareth’s here.
This coming weekend, and the one after that, (18/19th & 25/26 June) we are taking part in the Saffron Walden Arts Trust open studios.
Michelle has some new original collages and her “Flight” print with Jealous Studios will be available at the very reasonable price of £60. Gareth is showing his prints and LIGHT TRAFFIC ONLY cups and tea towels, plus a newspaper WORK/PLAY celebrating 10 years of graphic design. It will be great – you should come.

We’ve been a bit (very) slack updating the blog this year (sorry) so here’s a quick update.
She (Michelle) started the year showing at the London Art Fair, the International Art Fair at the Royal College of Art, the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea and created a new print for a show at Jealous Gallery. He (Gareth) has been busy on brand commissions for Reebok and Brand-X (secret) and took part in the Guardian’s SXSW Hack Weekend winning Best Creative category. He has an exhibition WORK/PLAY at the Corn Exchange/Library here in Walden until May 22nd and we’re taking part in the Saffron Walden Open Studios in June.
